Mario has been shown extensively in AQHA, Open and 4-H shows since he was a 2-year old. He was professionally trained and just tuned up this past spring. He has been shown all summer in Showmanship, Western Pleasure and Horsemanship by a 13 year old.
Mario is a showmanship machine. He knows his job and gets his pivots, jogs, pull-turns, obstacles, squares-up quickly and backs correctly. Mario has a nice jog and more modern lope. He's spur broke, but you really don't need spurs. Goes in mild C-port curb. Knows how to sidepass both directions and is working on the perfect 360 turn on the hindquarters. His tail is quiet. He always gets his leads correct. We've started him in trail.
He loads, trailers, bathes, stands in cross-ties, stands quietly tied at shows, will stand in a stall quietly at a show for days. Easy on the longe line. He's an easy keeper with great feet. He's up-to-date on ALL vaccines, deworming, shoes, dental. No vices. Good with pasture buddies, leaves blankets alone.
Pony your halter horses off him; he loves it! He trail rides very quietly with others or alone.

He's bombproof on the trails, alone or in a group. He's great for an adult beginner, Small Fry or 4-H project.
